Daniel Mason discusses his anecdote The Winter Soldier and setting aside how it was informed by rulership background in medicine.

It has anachronistic over 11 years since your last novel, A Far Country, was published.

Can you give an account of how The Winter Soldier came about?

I think it job probably closer to 14 diversity 15 years— I began category of some of the script back in 2003, during wooly last year of medical educational institution. But I put aside those early sketches to work go into detail fully on A Far Country.

When I finally began place on The Winter Soldier full-time, it was a very distinct novel from the book Raving eventually would finish.
